In zijn vrije tijd werkt hij mee in Baden Powell Memory School. Dat is enerzijds een school en anderzijds een weeshuis voor kinderen wiens ouders het slachtoffer werden van burgeroorlog, malaria of aids. Om de kinderen hun artistieke vaardigheden te laten ontwikkelen, om hun zelfbeeld te versterken en tegelijk om enkele fondsen te verwerven, werd in de school enkele jaren geleden het 'Kids of Hope' kinderkoor opgericht.
