"Electrabel-Electrahel"

On Tuesday an advertisment next to the Gent St. Pieters station was magically changed during the day.
The poster of Electrabel was adjusted.

Electrabel is "a European energy and energy services company. It is one of Europe's front-runners in the energy sector and leader on the Benelux market. Its core business consists of sales and trading of electricity and natural gas, generation of electricity and management of distribution networks. Electrabel is part of SUEZ, an international industrial and services group that is active in energy and the environnement." (quotation taken from their homepage)

Electrabel uses nuclear energy from the nuclear power plants in Doel and Tihange and Belgium. As we know, nuclear energy can never be safe, there is always a risk of an accident or other catastrophes.

However, the advertisment is next to the busy train station in Gent and as well located next to a bus stop, where there were already that tuesday many people interested in the message on the poster while they were waiting for the bus.

We changed "Het is jouw energie - Bewaar wat voor morgen" (It is your energy - keep something for tomorrow)
to "Het is kernenergie - Gevaar voor morgen" (It is nuclear power - danger for tomorrow).

The logo "Electrabel" was changed to "Electrahel" and the children on the poster got death's heads on their smiling faces to call attention to the danger which nuclear power brings not only to us but as well to the future generations.
