"The atmosphere at Sfinks is very nice. It appears to me that there is a very good coordination at the festival. It's good to come here, it feels good. Things can get dull in the refugee centre. I certainly want to see the groups from India and surrounding countries, like 'Tashi Lhunpo Tibetan Monks' from Tibet."

"I think it's normal to help other people. That's why I am helping here. There is not a lot of contact with the other people, but building the festival also means team spirit. We are so happy when we come here, so happy. Because there is finally something we can do. We are so bored in the centre. The belgian government could have more manpower with people like us if they want."

"I like to have a job and to help people. That's why I come here. In the refugee centre the only thing I do is eat and sleep. It sometimes feels more like detention. There is a very nice atmosphere here. I'm interested to see all the groups. I am happy here."

"The belgian government gave a negative reply to my request to stay in Belgium. My wife and two sons are still in Pakistan. They don't believe me. What can I do?"

"One day they told me I could come here to help. Why not? We are young and fit. I am bored at the centre and I want to be busy. Except for this opportunity, nothing really changed. Like in our country, we have food to eat. That is the only thing we do at Meihof: eat and sleep. I feel like an animal."
