From the 30th of September to the 4th of October 2009, young people of
the European Coordination Via Campesina "Reclaim the Fields" organize a European camp in
Minerve, Southern France.

Bonjour,

Du 30 septembre au 4 octobre prochain, les jeunes de la Coordination
Européenne Via campesina "Reclaim the Fields" organisent un campement européen à Minerve, dans
le Sud de la France. Le campement rassemblera de jeunes paysan-ne-s,
celles et ceux qui souhaitent s'installer en agriculture, des paysan-ne-s
sans terre et des personnes engagées pour la souveraineté alimentaire.
Vous êtes les bienvenu-e-s pour y participer et y proposer des activités;

Le campement est organisé autour de quatre grands axes:
- Devenir paysan : les jeunes, l’installation et l'agriculture paysanne.
- Se prendre en main et valoriser l’entraide, la coopération et les
dynamiques collectives
- Agriculture Paysanne et agro-écologie, le tournant a prendre pour
« refroidir la planète »
- Comprendre la situation de l’agriculture, renforcer nos solidarités et
nos capacités d’agir : articuler nos luttes pour la défense des
paysanneries de demain

Dear all,

From the 30th of September to the 4th of October 2009, young people of
the European Coordination Via Campesina "Reclaim the Fields" organize a European camp in
Minerve, Southern France. The camp aims at gathering people who wish to
settle in agriculture, who are young peasants, landless peasants and/or
who want to recover food sovereignty.
You are welcome to take part to it and/or to propose activities in the camp.

The camp is organized around four big topics:
- Becoming Peasant. Youth, settling on land and peasant agriculture.
- Working together to help each other, cooperation and collective activities
- Peasant agriculture and agroecology. What major changes need to happen
in order to "cool down the earth”?
- Understanding the current situation of agriculture, strengthening our
solidarity and our capacity for taking action : how to join our struggles
in defending the peasants of tomorrow
