EUROPEAN COUNCIL, BRUSSELS, 15 OCTOBER 2008

Wise Up Journal calling for action in Brussel.

NO MEANS NO

In June 2008 the Irish people rejected the European Treaty of Lisbon after a democratic referendum. Unless ratified by all member states the Treaty is legally dead. But some European politicians have not accepted this reality and continue to push through the Treaty. It is the duty of everybody, whatever their political persuasion, to defend the democratic vote of the Irish people by making their way to Brussels on the 15th of October 2008 and demanding that all the heads of state present must RESPECT THE VOTE.

The European Council meeting will be held at the Justus Lipsius building, 175 rue de la Loi, Brussels. (Is this correct?)

The Schuman train and metro stations are in the immediate vicinity. (The Berlaymont Building of the European Commission is across the road)
